don't need an opinion.
Those that don't,
shouldn't have one.

Opinions serve to unite or divide us,
But they can never connect us.

A couple of days ago I went on a furious rant at yet another new low for the Australian Government. It seems that no action is too low, for some Australian government members, and Penny Wong is the current record holder. Since few Australians know what is actually happening in Israel, and (heart-warmingly), even fewer Israelis know who Penny Wong is (let’s face it, they have much bigger problems on their plate than worrying about that disgraceful human being), the only people who understood what I was saying were Australian Israelis.
Two days later, some clarity is in order, if only out of respect for the Israeli civilians injured and murdered by yet another terror attack on the day.
Two days ago, marking 100 days of captivity for hostages not yet returned to their homes and families in Israel, Penny Wong decided to finally visit the country, in blatant insult of the grieving and distressed hostage family members! She shunned the site of the October 7 massacre and refused to watch the footage of the atrocities, filmed by the murderers themselves as trophies of their barbaric acts.
What was she doing there then, you might wonder? Quite a few people were asking that same question. She was there in support of Hamas and Palestine, as she has been since the beginning of this war. And what were the terrorists that she supports so vigilantly doing while on her visit to Israel, on such a painful day for the hostage families and Israelis countrywide? They were carrying out yet another terror attack: they were driving stolen cars (who’s owners were stabbed and discarded) in the Streets or Ra’anana, ramming and running over woman, children, and the elderly. (I alluded to this in one of my comments on the day, as we have family in Ra’anana, and were obviously concerned for their safety). 79-year-old Edna Bloshtein (picture below) was killed in the attack, 18 others are wounded, some in critical condition.
And to wrap up her revolting display of support for human brutality, she happily announced yesterday the outcome of her visit: $21.5 million in further support of the Palestinian cause.

The war began, and this blog created itself, on my Facebook page.  I watched my posts develop, and grow distant from everything I believed in.  One day I realised this is my next blog.  Not everything has been transferred from FB.  And this story has not yet found it's conclusion.
